The Barix Clinics message board is made up of many different forums for people in different phases of their weight loss journey. These forums range from Pre-Consult to Post-Consult to Post-Surgery topics. An example of this main forum screen is below.

The different Forums are listed on this page and denoted with a star. The star will be yellow if a new post has been posted in it since the last time you came and grey if there are no new posts.
The control panel is where you set your settings preferences for the forums. The preferences range from the order the threads are in to time zones. Make sure to visit the control panel as soon as you create your username and password to make sure they’re set up the way you want. Your user profile is also in the control panel. You can add pictures and avatars and add a signature for your posts. The signature area is also where you can add your ticker – see http://barixclinicsstore.websitetoolbox.com/post?id=2790966 for more info on how to set up a ticker.
To get back to the main forum page, go to the bread crumb navigation towards the top of the page.
The bottom of the main forum page gives your current information on the forums. As shown in the graphic below, you can see who’s currently on the message boards, who’s birthdays are coming up, who’s in the chat area, etc.

When you click on one of the forums, you are taken to the list of threads or topics within that forum.

When you click on the Thread, you will see all the posts or replies to it. An example of a post is shown below.

You can see who posted the reply and when on the left hand side. To reply to the thread in general, press the reply button on the top or the bottom of the page and start typing. If you want to reply to a certain person’s post and quote what they said, click on the quote pencil. It will enter code into your reply area with the copy from the post you’re replying to. Type your message under this inserted code.
You also have the option to view only one individual post. This link is marked on the graphic above. Not sure why you would want to view only one post, but you have the option.
At the bottom of each of your individual posts, there will be an edit and a delete button. For more info on this function, view http://barixclinicsstore.websitetoolbox.com/post?id=3026813
